*The Committee has only recently been made aware that during the last few years important events have taken place in the lives of two of our members. However not having been advised of these events we were not able to either acknowledge or record them which has been a matter of some embarrassment to us.
Obviously, we need better networking and to that end we ask all members to keep the Club Secretary
advised of any major events in their lives and subject to their permission,
the lives of other members. Examples of such events are significant birthdays, awards, celebrations, illness etc.
Your help in this respect will enable us to foster the aims of PROBUS,
that is friendship, fellowship and care for each other . Thank you.’
